About the Program
Are you interested in German cinema, film and media studies? Did you know that German is one of the most important languages in the world? William & Mary's German studies minor covers a wide array of German-centric topics and offers courses in all levels of German language for you to study. This minor can enhance your studies in history, international relations, government and film & media studies.

Learn about Conversation and Composition through Film (GRMN 206), Germans in Exile (GRMN 335) and Literature, Science and Culture in Germany (GRMN 386).*

Work on the student-run newspaper, Die Zeitung, or complete research or an internship during your study abroad.

Participate in summer-, semester- or year-long programs abroad in locations including the Universität Münster, Berlin, Munich and Freiburg.
