New communication tool in Blackboard

Impact offers a new way to offer inline help in the LMS

Impact is a new tool implemented in Blackboard that helps with inline support for faculty and students when navigating in the LMS. Customized messaging allows users to get help when needed by providing support articles and videos to help perform tasks. Impact replaced the Blackboard Help messaging that is currently in the system and allow users to find materials for help when needed.

In W&M IT, we are always looking for new ways to reach students when we have important updates and news to share with them. Impact has given us an additional medium to reach them.
