About the Performers
Formed in 2011, the Sudburg Guitar Trio (SGT) is one of Canada's leading chamber ensembles. Audiences and critics worldwide have acclaimed the Trio's energetic and playful stage presence. The SGT plays an eclectic repertoire, from newly commissioned works to traditional classical music, at the same time injecting fun arrangements of popular music (rock, Latin, and country styles) into their concert programs. SGT has performed at the SoundSCAPE Music Festival and Festival di Bellagio in Italy and at a new music series in Amsterdam. Members of the Trio - Matthew Gould, Allan Yzereef, and Keenan Comartin - share a passion for exciting new music and a dedication to promoting guitar. SGT tours internationally in North America and Europe while maintaining a home base in Canada.
