E-Internship Program
Are you looking for a great internship that doesn't require long commutes away from campus? Part of the Whole of Government Center of Excellence's National Security Internship Program, e-internships links students currently in Williamsburg with national security and foreign affairs related organizations in the United States and around the world. E-interns telecommute to their internships approximately 10 hours a week during the fall and spring semesters. Academic credit can be awarded through normal department processes.
Past research topics have included: Climate Change, Cyber Security, European Security and Defense, Evolution of the Operational Environment, Social Media and ISIS, South China Sea, and the Future of Peace and Warfare.
Past internship organizations have included: Air Combat Command, Center for International Maritime Security, Defense Innovation Board, Global Environmental Facility, National Defense University, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, and U.S. European Command.
To apply, students are recommended to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior. The program is open to all majors, as well as both undergraduate and graduate students.
