Career Fellows

In the Spring 2024 semester, the Global Research Institute launched a Career Fellows program with two seminar series on Intelligence and Diplomacy. You can read more about those programs below. We look forward to continuing the Career Fellows program in Spring 2025. 

Intelligence Seminars

 

The Intelligence seminar series was hosted by the former Deputy Director of Operations for the CIA, who spent 32 years with the agency. Eighteen students were accepted into the seminar series, and gained insight into careers in the field of intelligence by attending three seminars titled: "What is Intelligence?", "How Does the US Intelligence Community Work?", and "Ethics in Intelligence". 

Diplomacy Seminars

 

The Diplomacy seminar series was hosted by an experienced former diplomat and senior U.S. official. Eighteen students were accepted into the Diplomacy seminar series, and gained insight into careers in the field of diplomacy by attending three seminars titled: "The Politics of Foreign Policy", "International Development Engagement ", and "Communications and Public Affairs in Governmental and Diplomatic Settings".
