Internship Course

On June 2, 2025, students are able to begin the internship portion of their summer experience. This overlaps with an academic course they must participate in, during which they will earn three (3) credit hours. For the summer of 2025, all students will take one of the following internship course:

INTR 499 (All Institutes):

This course is designed for students participating in the D.C. Summer Institutes. The aim of this course is further students’ understanding of professional competencies and to help students think critically about the skills gained in their summer internship. In this course, students will be responsible for observing, analyzing, and reflecting on their professional experiences. Each assignment maps to a NACE competency.
