The scope of work includes construction of a 9' wide (8’ clear) concrete trail adjacent to Compton Drive as well as retaining walls to avoid impact to nearby wetlands, lighting, and guardrails to protect pedestrians from vehicular traffic. The new construction will connect the existing pathway on Compton Drive to the City of Williamsburg's pathway at Monticello Avenue (SR 321).
