How to Register or Apply
How you register or apply for summer school classes depends on your current status as a high school or college-level student; and your current relationship with William & Mary.
Current William & Mary Students
W&M undergraduates who are currently enrolled ("degree-seeking") can register via Banner Student Self Service at myW&M. You do not need to complete any special registration forms, and no special PIN is required.
Current College-Level Students
The following groups are considered "non-degree-seeking" or "unclassified" students:
- W&M Alumni
- Incoming W&M Freshmen
- Visiting Undergraduates
- Graduating High School Students (students who graduate just before or during the summer session)
Applications are due at least ten days before the start of classes. More information about how to apply can be found on the University Registrar’s website.
Please note that enrollment in summer session courses does not constitute admission to the W&M's degree-seeking programs.
Current High School Students
Continuing high school students (rising high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors) are considered "Non-Degree-Seeking Concurrent High School Students," and can apply for admission up to May 15 (for summer session 1) and June 15 (for summer session 2) through the Admission Office. Once admitted, you will receive detailed information for how to register for classes via Banner.
