Minoring in Psychology
Psychology is not only one of the most popular majors, it is also a very popular minor. Insights into human behavior are helpful no matter what your major. A minor in psychology is a great way to gain those.
A psychology minor will introduce you to the fundamentals of psychology - both as a natural and as a social science. You can choose electives that best enhance your major or that match your goals and interests.
We have many courses that complement other disciplines. Most of those courses require that you take at least one of our introductory courses first. A lot of people take a prerequisite in order to take a complementary course. Then they decide that the material is so interesting, so useful, that they decide to declare a minor.
If, after minoring in psychology, you decide that you want to go to graduate school in the field, that is possible. You don't have to major in psychology to go to graduate school for it.
