Wlodzimierz Gogolek is a professor, with a specialty in media informatics, security systems and Big Data. As president of the Polish Press Agency, he designed and implemented a system for collecting and distributing multimedia resources via the Internet. Later, at the Polish Telecom, he implemented universal Internet access in Poland. In the same time, he worked as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Warsaw mainly in the area of collecting and improving Big Data resources. He is a visiting professor in South Africa and at UESTC, Chengdu / China and is an author of five books in the field of Internet and IT.
