With a background in Political Science and International Relations, as well as specialization in International Humanitarian Law, Humans Right studies in conflict areas, Micaela Rafael works in the NATO Public Diplomacy Division within the Digital Outreach section. Her work includes supporting the production and distribution of media content for NATO web and social media platforms, and to media outlets worldwide. She has experience and a particular interest in matters related to the Women, Peace and Security agenda and has worked with different NATO Allies and NATO commands. She has also worked with the Portuguese Navy and STRIKFORNATO.
