IT Communications Intern
William & Mary Information Technology is currently looking for an IT Communications Intern for summer 2024.
About the Position
The IT Communications Intern's duties will include maintaining information on the IT website and updating it as needed, assisting in the development and production of content for communication purposes (copy, photos, videos, flyers, displays, reports, etc.), writing IT news stories, contributing to IT social media channels, researching and gathering market information, graphic design projects and other duties as assigned.
Hours: About 20 hours per week during regular business hours.
Pay Per Hour: $12.00
Skills
The successful applicant will have strong verbal and written communication skills, exhibit an attention to detail, have a positive attitude with good interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative, be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud software, be experienced in using a variety of social media platforms and have some graphic design abilities. Experience with website content creation, photo editing and copy editing is preferred. An interest in technology is a plus.
