Administrative Effectiveness & Academic Student Services Evaluations FY-24
The Administrative Effectiveness Evaluation (AEE) and Academic & Student Services Evaluation (ASSE) processes provide a streamlined pathway for W&M to demonstrate our commitment to effectively and efficiently fulfill our mission. The evaluation process addresses two standards prescribed by our accrediting body, the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC): Standard 7.3. Administrative effectiveness and Standard 8.2.c. Academic and student services.
Although both evaluations are structured similarly, the AEE process focuses on W&M's non-academic administrative units, while the ASSE process focuses on W&M's non-academic units that support student success. Both evaluations include the following components:
- Purpose/Mission Statement
- Goal & Expectations
- Evaluation Plan
- Results, Target Achievement, & Action Plans
Evaluation plans and reports are documented annually using the Anthology Planning tool. As a reminder, it is best practice to complete your evaluations in your Word templates and then copy them into the Planning space. You can find links to these templates and other resources below or in Planning under the "Documents" tab.
