Aja E. Moore

Aja E. Moore joined William & Mary as Associate Director of Government Affairs in July 2024. In her role, she assists the Assistant Vice President for Government and External Affairs with the university's federal and state government relations portfolios. For the last three years, Aja served as Government Relations Manager at Reed Smith LLP, lobbying on behalf of various clients in the Virginia legislature. Prior to her time at Reed Smith, she served in roles within the Office of the Governor and the Virginia State Senate. 

Aja graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also an alumna of the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership. Aja grew up in Hampton Roads. She enjoys traveling, trying a new workout class, attending sports games, and visiting her friends and family members that live in Washington D.C and Portsmouth in her free time. She resides in Richmond, Virginia with her Cavapoo, Roo.
