Leadership Webinar Series
Leading with Compassion: Reflections and Tools for Leaders Focused on Service & Community
Today’s leaders are faced with many challenges as they strive to serve others, build community and face injustice. How can leaders create inclusive environments where courage and compassion lead to a sense of belonging for all members?
Fall of 2020, William & Mary hosted a unique webinar series that combined theory and practice to explore this question through the lens of our values. Each session paired a faculty member with an alumni leader who guided reflection and discussion in a group setting and then equipped participants with the leadership tools they needed to put their ideas into motion. Self-reflections throughout allowed them to actively consider their roles as current or upcoming leaders and the positive impact they can have in their community.
Three webinars were offered. Webinars were open to members of the W&M community and beyond.
