Afterschool Volunteers
Volunteer Opportunities
As an Afterschool volunteer, you will volunteer 2-3 hours in the afternoon at least once each week at a local middle school, providing academic support and leading group activities based in a STEM-curriculum. You will be able to foster strong relationships with multiple students by providing effective learning experiences and contributing to the empowerment of young people.
Since Afterschool includes enrichment programs at least two to three Saturdays each semester, you will be expected to participate in at least one. Enrichment activities range from being on W&M's campus to traveling to local areas for the day.
