Afterschool Families
Our Afterschool program provides a space where your child can thrive! With our new curriculum for our students, we hope to foster an environment where your child can learn beyond the classroom. Skills they learn in After School include collaboration, organization skills, creative thinking, and goal setting. To participate in this program, an application (see below) must be filled out, turned into, and accepted by your child's school counselor other administrative personnel.
“... When I commented that they [the students] were smart, they disagreed, but seemed to be happy about my comment. This made me realize the importance of affirmation and encouragement in education. Moving forward, I hope to keep exploring different ways in which I can engage with people in different age groups and from different backgrounds as I continue to learn about ways to build communities.” -Afterschool GSP Volunteer Spring 2024
