Minoring in Kinesiology
A minor in Kinesiology is 21 credits which consists of two required courses plus 15 additional credits from the list of courses. This gives you a great deal of flexibility for choosing courses that meet your goals and interests.
A minor in Kinesiology may be of particular interest if you are considering a health profession, but wish to pursue a different major. However, taking the courses that lead to a minor will give you a solid understanding of the workings of the human body and the factors important for good health. This knowledge is a life-long benefit to anyone, regardless of major.
A minor in Public Health is another option. This is an interdisciplinary program offered through the Charles Center. If you are interested in this minor, Sarah Menefee can answer your questions.
