Graduation 2013
The Department of Kinesiology at the College of William & Mary would like to welcome the class of 2013 to the growing family of our alumni. Of the 100 students who graduated from our department this year, 79 of you attended the graduation ceremony along with 5 Interdisciplinary graduates on May 12th. The day began at William & Mary Hall where the main commencement ceremony was held and where FBI Director Robert Mueller delivered a commencement speech emphasizing the importance of integrity, patience, and humility in life. Following this, students moved to Adair Hall where degrees were handed out while around 600 family and friends looked on. Also at Adair Hall, Rebecka Hoffman was named as the Major of the Year before giving an acceptance speech describing her experiences while majoring in the department, along with the lasting impressions of her time here. When the proceedings concluded, everyone was invited to stay and share in some hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks. People enjoyed mingling – and hugging – and taking lots of pictures. See for yourselves!!
