Student Organizations
With more than 450 campus clubs and organizations to choose from, staying active and engaged at W&M isn't an afterthought; it’s a way of life. The astounding number of student clubs and organizations at W&M is a reflection of the broad diversity of thought, experience and background of our students, and an opportunity to explore leadership and community engagement in a supportive environment. There are more than two hundred special interest clubs inspired by political engagement, religious faith, ethnic and cultural pride, environmental protection and endless geekery from quiz bowl to ping pong to heavy metal.
The Geology Department proudly has three student-led organizations to represent the geosciences in various ways. Most of these organizations are not limited to geology majors; they are open to anyone interested in geosciences! For the geology majors looking to be involved and part of an honors society, Sigma Gamma Epsilon is for you.
