AWG

Association for Women Geoscientists at W&M

Purpose

AWG is an international organization dedicated to serving underrepresented groups in the geosciences through education, outreach, and professional development.

AWG at W&M meets monthly to discuss topics relating to academic and career growth such as resume building, networking, internships, etc. We also maintain the Field Gear Lending Library, which is a free resource for students to borrow sleeping bags, tents, coats, and other supplies necessary for field trips and geology-affiliated activities.AWG Logo
