Association for Women Geoscientists at W&M
Purpose
The Association for Women Geoscientists at W&M is dedicated to serving women and underrepresented groups in the geosciences through education, outreach, and networking.
AWG at W&M is a chapter of a larger national organization whose goals are:
- to encourage the participation of women in the geosciences,
- to exchange educational, technical, and professional information,
- to enhance the professional growth and advancement of women in geosciences.
We meet bimonthly to discuss issues related to diversity and inclusion and plan events.
