Transfer Information Sessions
It's not just how you start, it's how you finish.
William & Mary is a story over three centuries in the making and transfer students are an important part of that story. The experiences that transfer students bring add a unique flair to the pages of William & Mary’s history.
Please join us to learn more about transferring to William & Mary. This information session will include a transfer admission and application overview with the dean of transfer admission, a live Q&A with the dean and opportunities to connect with a current transfer student. For our on-campus events, a panel of faculty/staff resources and an optional tour will also be offered.
Transfer Days are offered on the following dates and times (ET) for Spring 2025:
Virtual (Zoom Webinar) Transfer Information Session Dates
- Friday, January 24, 12-1:30 pm
- Thursday, February 6, 4-5:30 pm
- Friday, February 21, 12-1:30 pm
- Thursday, March 6, 4-5:30 pm
- Friday, May 9, 12-1:30 pm
In-Person/On-Campus Transfer Information Session Date
- Friday, April 4, 11:00 - 12:30 pm: Main Transfer Information Session, Q&A, and Student/Staff Resource Panel
- (Optional) Feel free to visit our Spring Honors Research Symposium from 12:30-2:00 pm at the Sadler Center
- (Optional) If interested in Business, the Mason School of Business will host a tour between 1-1:30 pm
- (Optional) Come back to the admission office for a student-led tour from 3:00-4:30 pm
- (Optional) If staying through the evening, we welcome you to any of our available events/performances
We invite you to participate in our growing list of virtual visits and tour opportunities. Students are also welcome to register for one of our more frequently held general information session & tours on-campus.
