Transfer Applicants
{{youtube:medium:right|oMSVQyAImk4}}William & Mary is a story over three centuries in the making and transfer students are an important part. We usually receive around 900 transfer applications for the fall semester and 250 transfer applications for the spring semester. William & Mary enrolls approximately 200 transfer students in the fall and 70 transfer students in the spring, not including students pursuing the Spring Pathway program.
Who is a transfer student?
A transfer student is anyone who attended another college or university after graduation from high school, did not earn a bachelor's degree and wishes to enroll in an undergraduate degree program at William & Mary. If you have earned advanced placement credit or college credit while attending high school, you are not considered a transfer student (although you may still potentially receive credit).
Transfer students are admitted for both the fall and the spring semesters.
Transfer applicants must be in good standing and eligible to return to their last institution of full-time attendance.
