Executive Branch

About

The Student Assembly Executive Branch focuses on ‘big picture’ projects. The branch consists of the President, Vice President, Chief of Staff, and the Cabinet. The Cabinet is made up of departments that work to forward the initiatives and priorities of the Student Assembly. Each department has one Secretary and multiple Undersecretaries, who are appointed by the President. 

Leadership

The individuals below serve as the Executive Members of the 332nd Student Assembly. Their terms will run from April 2024 to April 2025.

President - Terra Sloane

Serves as the Chief Executive of Student Assembly and appointed as the student representative to the Board of Visitors. Acts as the main point of contact and shares student perspectives with the President’s Office, Provost, and campus administrators. Oversees campaign platform initiatives and projects.

Vice President - Oscar Lazo

Serves as the President and presiding officer of the Senate. Supports the President in duties and fills in when unavailable. Acts as the bridge between the Senate and executive branch. Represents the student body with the administration, and oversees and executes campaign platform initiatives and projects.

Chief of Staff - Becca Stamm

Responsible for the management and operations of the Executive Branch. Supervises the construction of the annual Student Activities Fee budget and the coordination of the quarterly allocation process. Promotes communication and organization between the branches of Student Assembly. Represents the student body with the administration, and oversees and executes campaign platform initiatives and projects.
