Student Assembly

Representing and advocating for the interests of the William & Mary student body.

The Student Assembly of William & Mary is the university's student government organization and student union, representing every social class and graduate school.

Whether it is allocating a roughly $750,000 budget for students and student organizations, ensuring that campus policies remain fair and student-friendly, advocating for student rights, or establishing a student presence in both the City of Williamsburg and William & Mary administration, the Student Assembly is here to serve the student body. Learn about the Student Assembly budget and how your organization can get funded on our Finance page.

Students have many opportunities to get involved in the Student Assembly at William & Mary. Check out our events posted in TribeLink and our Instagram @wmstudentassembly for event and initiative information. Whether you are interested in joining the Cabinet or running for Senate, we always seek more passionate students to join our efforts. Check out the rest of the site for more information about ways to get involved in Student Assembly, or contact us directly.
