Constitution & Bylaws

The initial constitution and bylaws for the assembly were approved by William & Mary's Board of Visitors on April 16, 2010. An amended constitution and bylaws were approved by the Board of Visitors on April 20, 2017, and January 17, 2019. The 2019 revisions addressed (1) editorial changes that bring all references to William & Mary in line with brand guidelines, (2) the guidelines that differentiate monthly business meetings and semesterly general meetings, and (3) deleting an addendum for electing officers that was deemed outdated and unnecessary.
