Swem Library
Newspapers, scholarly articles and legislative information related to LGBTIQ histories are available through Swem Library (requires W&M login credentials). Databases include "LGBT Life with Full Text," "Women's Studies International," and the "Homophile Movement Papers of Donald Stewart Lucas." LGBTIQ-related archival materials can also be found in Special Collections.

William & Mary Lambda Alliance: A LGBTIQ Student Group
Lambda Alliance is a student organization dedicated to creating a supportive environment for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual, Queer and Questioning community and allies.
William & Mary School of Law LGBT Equality Alliance
The LGBT Equality Alliance works to bring attention and awareness to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender legal issues as well as provide a community and safe space for LGBT students and their allies. The organization also sponsors speakers and film showings on major current LGBT legal events.
Center for Student Diversity
The Center for Student Diversity serves as a vital link where students from diverse backgrounds can find a sense of community and everyone can learn about the diversity of the William & Mary community.
Mosaic House
Mosaic House is a co-curricular, co-educational residential house — a special interest living option for William & Mary undergraduates that promotes intellectual exchange about culture, diversity, interracial community and sexuality. It is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors, and is housed in Hardy Hall (formerly known as Jamestown North).

The purpose of EqualityW&M is to improve the learning and working environment at W&M for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender faculty, staff, and students through representation, action and community.
Additional Research Projects
The Lemon Project: A Journey of Reconciliation
The Lemon Project is a multifaceted and dynamic attempt to rectify wrongs perpetrated against African Americans by W&M through action or inaction. Through symposia, writing and activism, this project focuses on contributing to and encouraging scholarship on the 300-year relationship between African Americans and W&M, and building bridges between the university and Williamsburg and Greater Tidewater area.
Sharpe Community Scholars Program
The Sharpe Community Scholars Program strives to support the development of select first-year students through the integration of academic studies, research and community engagement.
