Mentoring Network

Nearly 200 faculty and staff are matched with a student that creates a mutually beneficial relationship throughout the students time at the University. Mentors receive training and orientation and students are provided an orientation on the goals of the program. The pairs meet at least three times/semester to get to know one another in a casual setting. The mentor is accessible to the student at all times if the student is in need of assistance communicating with any department or office at the University. The mentor is the students "go-to person." The trusting relationship is of benefit to both the faculty/staff member and the student.

We ask for faculty/staff members at the start of the fall semester. If you would like to learn more or be added to the mentor network list, email [[gmhend, Greg Henderson]]
