Josh Sundquist thought he might have to choose between going to college and training for the 2006 Winter Paralympics in Turin, Italy. At William & Mary, he was able to have the quintessential college experience he was looking for and graduate with a degree in business, while still fulfilling his dream of skiing for the USA on the world stage.
Josh’s experience is detailed in his bestselling memoir, Just Don’t Fall, which tells the story of his cancer diagnosis at age 9, learning how to ski after losing his leg, transitioning from home school to public high school to William & Mary and skiing for Team USA. Part of his memoir is the basis of the kids TV show Best Foot Forward on Apple TV+, for which Josh is an executive producer, writer and actor.
He has written two additional memoirs — We Should Hang Out Sometime and Semi-Famous — and one novel, Love and First Sight. A motivational speaker, stand-up comedian and popular social media personality, he has more than 3 million followers on social media and his videos have been viewed over 400 million times. Through his inspirational mix of humor and heartfelt storytelling, Josh encourages audiences worldwide to embrace his motto, “One More Thing, One More Time.”
