Anna Hurajová's scientific research focus lies in examining the relationship between language and the media. Her main scientific research interest is bilingualism. She explores the connection between bilingualism, multilingualism and the media; specifically, she is interested in the possibilities and manifestations of bilingualism and multilingualism in primarily monolingual media. She is also interested in bilingual education, foreign language teaching at the tertiary level of education and also in intentional bilingualism as a specific form of communication in a monolingual environment. Furthermore, her research interests also include character and moral education, and communication in cyberspace in general.
