Safe Colleges Alcohol Module

William & Mary is proud to offer Safe College as a component of its Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program. All incoming undergraduates are required to complete Safe Colleges Alcohol and Sexual Violence Prevention modules. Chances are that all of you will make choices about alcohol at some point during college. For this reason, William & Mary is pleased to offer the Safe Colleges program. Whether you drink alcohol or not, these modules will empower you to make well-informed decisions about alcohol and to better assist your peers throughout your college career and your life.

All new students who have accepted an offer of admission and made a tuition deposit will be enrolled into an online mini-course known as SafeColleges. This course contains two modules provided by W&M Health & Wellness regarding sexual violence prevention and alcohol education.

These reality-driven courses are designed to educate students about alcohol and sexual violence and provide successful strategies for how to handle dangerous situations and reduce harm. The sexual violence prevention and alcohol education modules can be completed within two (2) hours.

Once you are logged in with your W&M credentials you can click on each assigned module under the “My Assignments” area and keep track of your progress. Here is a quick tutorial on navigating the "My Assignments" area for students.
