After-Hours

Students can reach a counselor outside of regular hours or on weekends by calling our main number at (757) 221-3620. Alternatively, students can speak with a therapist anytime via the Talk Now feature on Timely Care, a virtual health and wellness app. Students can log in to the Timely Care app using their W&M credentials.

Email Policy

Because email is never completely confidential, we have a policy against communicating clinical information via email. We encourage you to reach out to us, but we prioritize your privacy. The university reserves the right to monitor email usage, so we cannot guarantee confidentiality in electronic communication. Additionally, our Counseling Center staff may not check email regularly, which could delay our response. For these reasons, we prefer to communicate by phone or in person. Thank you for understanding.
