Portfolio Listing

Portfolio listings present a collection of pages with captioned photo and video slideshows. A portfolio listing is packaged in the asset factories as a Listing Folder - Portfolio and Portfolio Page and is designed to fit into the site structure in the same way as other listing folders.

As these assets require an extra level of user support — training, consultation on appropriate usage, and access to high-quality photography — they are only made available to users upon your request.

Available Fields & Options
Listing Index Page

The listing index page uses a standard page menu and offers an optional right column and intro WYSIWYG, followed by navigation to each portfolio page using a grid of labeled images.

  • Title (required), Summary, and Teaser
  • Right column and menu checkboxes to show parent and siblings (we recommend leaving the right column off)
  • Intro content WYSIWYG
  • Social Media Thumbnail, Listbox, Related Link, and Widget selectors
Portfolio Pages

Each portfolio page offers an intro WYSIWYG and a captioned slideshow of images and videos, followed by the same grid-style navigation to the pages in the collection. 

  • Title (required), Summary, and Teaser
  • Menu checkboxes to show parents and siblings
  • Portfolio Navigation fields:
    • Short Portfolio Name (this is displayed under the thumbnail image in the grid-style navigation on all pages)
    • Thumbnail internal image selector
  • Intro content WYSIWYG
  • Social Media Thumbnail
  • Slides: Use the + and - to add or delete slides. Use the up/down arrows or drag-and-drop to reorder the slides. Note: The submitted page allows you to view the slides as a rotating slideshow or as a list. Fields for each slide include:
    • Large Image selector (use if an image)
    • YouTube Video ID (use if a video)
    • Image or Video Caption
    • Photo Credit (if desired)
Image Sizes

Navigation Thumbnail image = 212 x 140 pixels
Slide image = 500 x 311 pixels

We recommend .webp or .jpg for all photos and for graphics without transparency. For graphics with transparency, we recommend .webp or .png.

Additional Specifications
  • Slides are all one size (slideshow sizes down to 100% width on phones and small devices, moving the captions below the slides).
  • Videos will automatically be letter-boxed to fit the slide size.
  • You can hyperlink a string of text within the text field for slide captions if desired.
