About University Communications
University Communications serves as William & Mary’s central communications office. The office is made up of three teams that support and promote the overall vision, mission and values of the university.
The University Content & Strategy team leads the strategy and production of content for external communications, internal messaging, and social media, including our news site and several flagship social media channels.
The University Media Relations team leads the university's crisis communication response, is responsible for media and other filming requests on campus, serves as the primary link to the press and media on all communications fronts and tracks media placements.
The University Web & Design team collaborates with campus communication professionals to establish creative vision for university communications. The office provides a suite of services to support implementation of that vision including collaborative planning and management, concepts, design and web communications strategy.
