Fall 2020 and Spring 2021
- Emma Rebour '21 focused on researching equity and environmental justice work taking place across Virginia in the solar field in collaboration with Solar United Neighbors (SUN).

- Colleen Norton '21 created a database of existing student engagement opportunities in the coastal, ocean, and marine science fields, analyzed the existing opportunities available, and sought to estimate the additional resources needed to ensure the success of diverse students in the coastal, ocean, and marine science workforce.

- Justin Maynard '23 wrote a written report summarizing ISO 20400, which provides guidance to organizations on sustainable procurement, and current William & Mary Procurement Services operations, as well as detailing suggested sustainable procurement practices that may be adopted by William & Mary.

- Zoey Mondshine '21 worked to complete the greenhouse gas audits and reports for fiscal years 2019 and 2020. The greenhouse gas audit allows the university to track its emission sources and amounts, measure progress, and inform decision-making, all essential to the W&M and UVA commitment to carbon neutrality by 2030.

- Mary Lawrence Young '21 and Claire Hutcheson '22 organized the 2021 W&M Earth Week while co-chairing the Earth Week Committee. W&M Earth Week plans the Earth Week Festival and acts as a hub of information for campus Earth Week activities.
- Sophia Chirico '22 and Maggie Sheridan '22 worked with the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve at VIMS to create informal education activities and demonstrations for the Discovery Lab program. Their topic was focused on Skates and Rays in the Chesapeake Bay.
- Amelia Lowe '21 worked with the Cohen Career Center on exploring and defining the multiple facets of the green career industry through organization and occupational research via websites and LinkedIn, and interviews with professionals in the field

Fall 2019 and Spring 2020
- Madeline Salino '20, who researched sustainability integration into university systems, producing a paper used to help influence the structure of sustainability at W&M.
- Nathaly Perez Rojas '22, who created an updated DormMania manual and researched more sustainable formats for this move-out program.
- Elizabeth Ashley '21, who implemented the Cohen Career Center's Green Career portion of their newsletter, interviewed alumni in these fields, and researched and made available green career resources.
- Gabrielle Jawer '21 and Gretta Mattheis '21, who led the Earth Week 2020 Committee in their first virtually coordinated Earth Day Festival, which featured events in collaboration with 7 other VA universities.
- Jen Dunn '20 and Mary Kasputis '21, who researched and implemented the Climate Corners of the VIMS Discovery Labs under CBNERR-VA education coordinator, Sarah Nuss
Fall 2018 and Spring 2019
- Austin Anderson '21 and Daniel Morgan '20, updating Oracle data and completing research on the economic evaluation of household coal stove phase out and gas usage in power grids with Dr. Yana Jin and Dr. Daniel Maliniak.
- Deme Smith '21, working with sustainability intern Riley Ford to collect STARS accreditation data on the number of faculty completing sustainability research
- Allison Gonzalez '19, reworking the Cohen Center's Green Careers webpage, reformatting past data, and scheduling meet-ups for students to meet and network with alumni in green careers with public service careers and assessment director, Tonya Nations
- Emily Mushlitz '19 and Bianca Bowman '20, who researched and implemented projects with the VIMS Discovery Labs under CBNERR-VA education coordinator, Sarah Nuss
- Julia Montgomery '20 (chair) and Madeline Brown '21 (co-chair), who led the Earth Week 2019 Committee coordinated the Earth Day Festival, including a butterfly tent, AMP music, food and information fair.
