Student Sustainability Council
In 2022, student advocacy led to the creation of the Student Sustainability Council. Approved by the Committee on Sustainability, this group was created to amplify student voices in conversations about institutional sustainability.
This council works to build engagement across the campus community by connecting stakeholders and giving them space to collaborate on sustainability initiatives. The council is responsible for planning and hosting the Student Sustainability Forum, which occurs every semester and gives students, faculty, and staff the chance to come together and discuss sustainability at William & Mary.
Apply to the Council by October 16th
In response to the feedback received at the Forum, the Council has created a Sustainability Guide to foster more sustainable livelihoods and involvements on and off campus.
