Laundry
Laundry rooms are located in most on campus residence halls. For smaller halls, they may be located in a central area within your residence hall neighborhood.
Summer 2024
- Most residences are equipped with coin operated washers and dryers at this time.
- Cost is $2.00 per wash or dry cycle.
- Laundry facilities are managed by Residence Life and contracted to an outside vendor.
- Problems with machine malfunction can be reported by phone (1-800-927-9274), e-mail service@caldwellandgregory.com or on the web.
- The university is not liable for any damage or loss caused by the washers or dryers.
- Please note that high efficiency front loading washers are used in the residence halls. Manufacturer’s guidelines recommend liquid detergent instead of powered detergent. Detergent ‘cakes’ should not be used in these machines.

Exciting changes coming soon!
W&M will be begin implementing to a new app based laundry machine use and payment system over the summer with full implementation anticipated by Fall 2024 move-in. The new system will accept credit and debit card payments only and will no longer be accessed through student Tribe Cards.
