Requesting Space for a Website

Faculty, staff, and students can quickly and easily create websites using WordPress or Google Sites (part of Google Workspace). To request personal web space beyond what WordPress offers, contact the Technology Support Center at [[support]] or 757-221-4357.

Faculty may contact their eLearning Specialist for additional options for websites related to courses and research projects.

Departments & Programs

In addition to the Cascade website, departments and programs may request web space on the William & Mary web server by contacting the [[support,Technology Support Center]]. Please note that if this route is taken and the website represents a W&M office, department or program, you should ensure brand guidelines are followed. [[creative,University Web & Design]] is also available to answer questions or provide guidance on visual identity standards.

You may also contact the [[support,Technology Support Center]] if you need permissions to access your departmental web space.

Student Organizations

Information Technology works with the Office of Student Leadership Development to provide resources to recognized student organizations. Through Student Leadership Development, each recognized student organization is provided with an organization site in TribeLink.
