So you've graduated...now what? Find out what happens to your access to IT services when your role at the university changes from a student to alumni.

Class of 2024 - Congratulations! You've made it to the end of your time here at William & Mary and we wish you well as you move on to your next chapter. We know you have a lot to figure out, so W&M Information Technology wants to make your transition from students to alumni as smooth as possible. As alumni, you will maintain access to several services for a period of time after graduation. See the timeline below to find out when your access will expire.
8 months after graduation - January 17, 2025
Note: Access to campus buildings, library services and your Zoom Pro account will expire on the day of Commencement (May 17, 2024).
Services lost at the end of the eight month period
- Blackboard
- VPN
Services kept at the end of the eight month period
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Office Productivity Tools, including OneDrive and Outlook
- Duo
- Banner Self-Service
16 months after graduation - September 17, 2025
All IT services expire 16 months after graduation

- Microsoft Office Productivity Tools, including OneDrive and Outlook
- Note: If you have a forward set up going to or from your @wm.edu account, it will no longer work once the account is turned off.
