Biography
Minseon is a postdoctoral fellow with the Diplomacy Project, working with Professors Jeffrey Kaplow and Marcus Holmes on research projects on various topics of diplomacy in International Relations. She is also working on her book project, "The Power of Performance: Summit Diplomacy in World Politics" which introduces a conceptual and theoretical framework for understanding what summitry does in world politics.
Minseon is previously the Spencer fellow in US Foreign Policy and International Security at the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the Ohio State University, specializing in International Relations and Political Psychology.
Minseon has contributed policy commentaries on US-North Korea nuclear diplomacy and South Korea's foreign policy and diplomacy in various policy outlets including the Diplomat, East Asia Forum, the National Interest, and 38 North. She has been quoted in news outlets including NPR, AFP, and SCMP.
