W&M Innovation at Work Review, 2008-2010
Learning and improving.
During our review of efforts in 2008 to 2010, organizational innovation teams exchanged over 100 examples of how they had identified opportunities, implemented changes and achieved gains either through lower costs, greater benefits, cost avoidance or new sources of revenue.
A summary document, William & Mary Innovation at Work (pdf), provides 40 examples. The major approaches used were reorganization, improved database management, enhanced information technology management and support, shifts from paper to digital formats and the development of new revenue sources. The links below will take you to examples.
