How to Apply
Submitting Your Application Online
Applications will open in January of each year. Using the online application system, faculty will be able to submit all relevant proposal details in one place. Once you begin, you will be able to save your work and return to it at any time. We strongly encourage you to have a conversation with your department chair to let them know of your plans to apply to teach in the Program.
The online application consists of three major parts:
- Personal Information: Complete a personal info section, upload a C.V. and attach Teaching Evaluation Summary Sheets.
- Proposed Course: Describe your proposed accelerated course and list proposed site visits and speakers. Courses can focus on almost any important issue that connects to D.C.
- Department Chair Endorsement: Once you complete your proposal, a link will be sent to your department chair so that he/she may approve your involvement with the program. Please note: We encourage you to speak with your department chair prior to submitting your proposal.
