Students
Strategic Cultural Partnerships (SCP) at William & Mary is deeply invested in fostering the next generation of cultural leaders through meaningful student collaborations. We believe in providing hands-on opportunities for students to engage with the rich cultural landscape surrounding them, both on and off campus.
Our collaborations range from internships and research projects with esteemed cultural institutions like the Muscarelle Museum of Art and the Omohundro Institute to creative endeavors with community partners like the Bray School Lab. Through these experiences, students gain valuable insights into the complexities of cultural heritage, preservation, and interpretation.
SCP also supports student-led initiatives that promote cultural dialogue and understanding, such as conferences, exhibitions, and performances. We strive to create a supportive environment where students can develop their skills, explore their passions, and contribute to the vibrant cultural community at William & Mary. By empowering students to become active participants in the cultural landscape, we ensure our shared heritage's continued vitality and relevance.
