History with CCE

I started volunteering with the CCE through WE the second semester of my freshman year. I began with the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and returned for the fall semester of my sophomore and junior years. I learned a lot about how building meaningful relationships can propel civic engagement and saw an opening to expand my own by leading others in a WE team. I am excited to help build new connections with the Heritage Humane Society for the 2024-2025 year!

What excites you about being a WE team leader?

I am excited to help others have the same formative experience that I had as a freshman participant in a WE team. The program is a great way to start growing your civic engagement and participation! To be a part of helping sustain this program for the CCE is also a great honor. Additionally, I look forward to building on my ability to communicate with others and be dependable as a leader.
