Abigail Connelly

History with the CCE

I joined the Williamsburg Engagement Program as a freshman volunteer in 2021. In 2022-2023, I served as the team leader at the House of Mercy, engaging in food distribution with team members every Wednesday morning. In 2023-24, I served at the Heritage Humane Society where I led a team that provided care to stray or surrendered pets. This year, I will continue leading a team at the Heritage Humane Society where I and my team will endeavor to provide the best care and love to animals in need. I am looking forward to another lovely year with the Williamsburg Engagement program.

What excites you about being a WE team leader?

I am looking forward to getting to know fellow students and working alongside a group of dedicated individuals to give back to our community. There is also something incredibly fulfilling about working with people who are interested in learning more about the community and taking time out of their lives to volunteer.
