I initially joined Williamsburg Engagement as a member of the Community Growers, an experience I found immensely fulfilling. Interacting with community members and witnessing the garden's transformation through our collective effort was truly rewarding. Motivated by a desire to contribute more significantly to our community, I am grateful for the opportunity to now serve as a team leader.

What excites you about being a WE team leader?

The people! Whether it’s with fellow volunteers, community members, garden staff, or those we get to help facing food insecurity, I have forged meaningful connections that have enriched my experience tremendously. These relationships inspire me to continue contributing to our community's well-being and growth.
