Background
Terrell Taylor is finishing his Ph.D in English at Vanderbilt University. Professor Taylor's research and practice focuses on African-American rhetoric in essays, public addresses, and literature. His teaching interests include rhetoric, debate and argumentation, and public speaking. His past projects include Race in District 9 and Sorry to Bother You; Ta-Nehisi Coates and Black Public Intellectuals.
