Background
David Garrett has served as the interim Technical Director for William & Mary Theatre & Dance since fall 2021. He completed his BA in Theatre at William and Mary and his MFA in Theatre Design at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He served as the Technical Director and Assistant Theater Manage for Thomas Nelson Community College’s Performing Arts Department 2012 through 2019. His favorite past scenic design work include HAIR (Williamsburg Players) and The Tempest (UNCG); costume and lighting design for Skeleton Crew (UNCG), and production design for Our Town (TNCC). Past directing credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, Romeo and Juliet, and Blithe Spirit for Thomas Nelson.
