Flute Ensemble

About the Flute Ensemble

Flute ensemble is a challenging and exciting ensemble that meets once a week. The ensemble performs a variety of music including transcriptions of beloved classical works, baroque and modern music written specifically for flute choir, and fun arrangements of movie and video game music. Performers have the opportunity to play piccolo, alto, and bass flutes. There are no fixed positions - all participants rotate parts on each selection. Advance your flute playing through small ensemble playing. Flute Ensemble performs at least one large program per semester. 

Membership: Membership is open to all William & Mary students by audition. Please contact the director for more information.
