Jackie Wheelock

Bio

Jackie is a first year graduate student pursuing a Masters Degree in modern U.S. History, with a focus on U.S. foreign relations during the Cold War. Jackie graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2016 and received her BA (Hons) in History. At the undergraduate level, Jackie also specialized in U.S. foreign relations, writing her undergraduate dissertation, titled 'The US, the Cold War, and Postcolonial Asian Genocides', on the U.S. enabling of genocidal regimes in the context of Cold War realpolitik. Jackie is also currently a graduate archival assistant for the Historic Campus of William and Mary, under the direction of Dr. Susan Kern, and is working primarily with archival documents related to the history of William and Mary during the various war in America's history.
